Mission Statement
The Caring About People Mentor Program was founded 20 years ago to foster mentor/student relationships that take place on a weekly basis. This program pairs a responsible adult role model who will encourage the development of self-esteem and promote positive changes in the life of a student in grades 1-12.
Mentors go into our schools for one hour every week and provide our students with a one-on-one relationship that provides friendship, builds their self esteem, reawakens their drive to achieve, provides a positive role model and rekindles hope.
