Mission Statement

To connect and engage the youth of Manatee County in the civic participatory process, to inform local leaders of youth perspectives, and to empower youth to be leaders in their communities.

Description

The Youth Comission is a group of 13 - 25 high school students from all over Manatee County who are selected to connect youth to local government officials. The Youth Commission is based on the idea that youth input is vital to local decision - making.
