While we do not have a facility, all dogs in our rescue live in loving volunteer foster homes where they receive the safety and affection they deserve while waiting to find their forever homes.

We provide eterinary examinations, spay/neuter, vaccinations, heartworm checks, heartworm
prevention, heartworm treatments, flea preventative, dentals, surgeries, and ny needed special medical procedures before the dogs are adopted.

We take pride in he level of service and care we donate to our animals and make great effort to
ensure their safety. We screen every home with phone interview, vet reference, and home inspection prior to approval for adoption.

We welcome any questions or inquiries concerning adoption, donating, or becoming part of our
team of volunteers!

The many alumni and current dogs of Lil’ Paws thank you for your interest.

We fostered one of the little momma dogs with this group as she recovered from her litter of puppies. We had her spayed and took care of her while she recovered from her surgery. We were told that as foster volunteers we would be able to adopt her for $200. We completed the adoption paperwork but were never contacted. A month later I contacted the foster vet to get her heart worm medication and was told to contact the head of the rescue group, Robert. He told me that it was $350 to adopt the dog, who was a two year old mutt, that needs a lot of veterinary care. I told him that's not what I was told and asked why it was so high. He began yelling at me and told me it isn't expensive and he should charge me $500. - $600. We already loved the dog and were attached, so we paid. Hopefully my post will help someone else not to be misled, yelled at or taken advantage of.
