Mission Statement

To bring fresh produce that would otherwise go to waste to people who might otherwise go without it, building community and local connections in the process.

Description

Each fall, homeowners who register their trees with us call when those trees are about to drop apples, cherries, peaches, and other food in their yards. Our volunteers harvest the fruit from the tree(s), leave some with the homeowners, and deliver the rest to daycare centers, homes for the elderly, community kitchens, and other places that serve people around Denver who are at risk of going without fresh, healthy food.
