Mission Statement

The mission of the Hobby Center Foundation is to broaden the range, quality and accessibility of cultural fare available to the public, to encourage distinctive arts education and outreach programs, to contribute to the cultural quality of life in Houston, Harris County and the region, and to serve the community as a privately operated and maintained institution that will provide premier venues for resident companies and other professional and community attractions.

Description

Volunteer assignments include but are not limited to assisting and seating patrons, distributing and stuffing playbills, scanning tickets. Assignments are given on a "first come first served" basis dictated by availability, the requirements of the day, and anticipated volunteer attendance. Assignments are given by the Floor Captains working at the sign-in table.
