Mission Statement

Our mission is to cycle off poverty by providing access to computer technology. The byte back computer recycling program will save the unwanted machines which otherwise would have gone to landfills. We repair, refurbish, and upgrade these computers and make them available to schools, special need students, and low-income families.

Description

Simputer (USA) is a non-profit, charitable organization, ruled under the Internal Revenue Service 501 (c) (3), and was established in July 2002. We accept tax-deductible donations of your surplus computers and related equipment, financial and professional assistance. We are dedicated to improving the quality of life for the disadvantaged by utilizing technological resources of the community. Although we are based in Charlotte, NC, we can handle customers' needs throughout the Carolinas. We have engaged highly trained staff of professionals to assist our customers.
