Mission Statement

The mission of the Parkinson Support Center of Kentuckiana is to provide support services that improve the quality of life for the Parkinson's community; to promote public awareness; to contribute to the local and national efforts to raise funds for support; and to accelerate the research for a cure.

Description

We are a grassroots organization, founded by Louisville-area people with Parkinson's disease. While we've grown and expanded our programs and services beyond support groups, our core values remain centered on ensuring that no one has to face Parkinson's disease alone.

We are not affiliated with any national organization; we do, however, collaborate with all organizations--both local and national--that seek to serve people who are living with this disease. Since 1999, the Parkinson Support Center of Kentuckiana (PSCKY) has raised over 2 million dollars to help educate the community, raise awareness about Parkinson's disease, provide direct support services to people with Parkinson's and their loved ones, and fund national and local research initiatives.

We are the only organization serving people with Parkinson's disease in over 45 counties in Kentucky and Southern Indiana. Our services are free. No one has to face Parkinson's disease alone. We're here for you!
