Mission Statement

Believing that together we can be light in the darkness, South Central LAMP provides a supportive, nurturing presence in the everyday lives of women and their families. We develop programs that strengthen mutually interdependent relationships and foster self esteem.

Description

Since 1993 South Central Los Angeles Ministry Project has offered a beacon of hope to hundreds of women and their families. A community-based non-profit organization originally founded by eight congregations of women religious, LAMP strives to support and empower the people of South Central Los Angeles through a range of innovative programs and services. All of our classes run for nine months, with registration beginning in September.
