Boston Area Health Education Center’s Youth-to-Health Careers Program (BAHEC Y 2HC) aims to diversify the pool of health professionals in Boston by providing middle and high school students with opportunities to increase their awareness of health professions, public health issues and concepts.

Description

The Boston Area Health Education Center's Youth to Health Careers Mentorship program matches college aged students and professionals with high school students interested in health issues or pursuing health careers for mentoring in 3 areas: academic support, career exploration, and socialization, depending on what the mentee needs. Mentors do not need to have a health background to mentor!
