Mission Statement

The mission of the John Wesley Powell Memorial Museum, Historical and Archaeological Society, Inc., is to provide an organization dedicated to the collection and preservation of the history of the exploration of the Colorado River from John Wesley Powell to modern times, the collection and preservation of the history of the development of the city of Page, and the interpretation of the Native American cultures of the Colorado Plateau and related areas. Adopted March 1, 1989 Re-Adopted February 10, 2000
