Founded in December 1994, Athens Land Trust believes in a holistic approach to sustainable development which combines environmental, economic, and community needs. Focusing primarily on affordable housing, community agriculture , and conservation , Athens Land Trust is one of the few organizations in the country that blends conservation and community land trust efforts. The space is pleasant & comfortable with a restroom available. The work is enjoyable (weeding, helping with irrigation) and the manager, Seth, is a really welcoming person.

This was an amazing opportunity to better the environment and community! Growing up in a city, I had never really had the opportunity to work in a garden, so the Urban Garden at Williams Farms was an eye opening experience that I would definitely reccommend!
