Description

About the National Multiple Sclerosis Society MS stops people from moving. We exist to make sure it doesn't. The National MS Society addresses the challenges of each person affected by MS by funding cutting edge research, driving change through advocacy, facilitating professional education, collaborating with MS organizations around the world, and providing programs and services designed to help people with MS and their families move their lives forward. We are people who want to do something about MS NOW, and are dedicated to achieving a world free of MS. Join the movement at www.nationalMSsociety.org. Studies show that early and ongoing treatment with an FDA-approved therapy can reduce future disease activity and improve quality of life for people with multiple sclerosis. Talk to your health care professional and contact the National MS Society at www.nationalMSsociety.org or 1-800- 344-4867 to learn about ways to help people with multiple sclerosis and about current research that may one day reveal a cure.

Sending you prayers, I was diagnosed in 2010 and seemed to go down hill quickly. In six years I could no longer work and had real problems with balance and joint pain. Brain fog was really bad sometimes. I took rebif and had a lot of problems and had to quit. I have been on techfadera (not spelled right) for a few years and have several side effects. I felt lost and decided to quit my meds due to side effects. Our care provider introduced me to Ayurvedic treatment. I had a total decline of all symptoms including vision problems, numbness and others. Sometimes, i totally forget i ever had MS. Visit Natural Herbs Centre web-site naturalherbscentre. com. I am very pleased with this treatment. I eat well, sleep well and exercise regularly. God bless all MS Warriors

Volunteering at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society is a rewarding experience. I highly recommend that you take the opportunity to volunteer in the office or at some of the many fundraising events all over the State of Michigan. The staff of the Michigan Chapter is an exceptional group of individuals who care deeply about providing programs and services to people with Multiple Sclerosis. You’ll also be sure to meet other volunteers who work hard to make a difference. Give it a try!

The MS Society is a great organization. The staff is extremely passionate about helping those affecting and finding a cure. In addition to the MS Society being a fun place to volunteer, they are also the most well organized non-profit that I've ever worked with. Their team is a well oiled machine.

The National MS Society, Michigan Chapter is a great place to volunteer! There are opportunities to volunteer in the office, at events, in the community...there's something for everyone here. The staff is a wonderful group of people, whose enthusiasm is matched by their sincerity. From a seasoned volunteer, working with the MS Society is the best service experience I've had, hands down.

The National MS Society's Michigan Chapter is a wonderful place to volunteer! All employees and volunteers are highly motivated and eager to help others. I enjoy the comfortable and friendly work/volunteer environment. There are a number of different volunteer opportunities, including everything from helping out with filing to assissting with biking, golfing and walking events. I always have a great time when I volunteer here, and would highly recommend that you join the movement and find out just how wonderful volunteering can be!

The employees and other volunteers at this organization truly care about the cause. Their enthusiasm and commitment is apparent. The events are well-organized and thoroughly enjoyable. The individual investment of time of each person in the programs department is a clear indication that they care. Very rarely are they “too busy” to speak with a client or take time to educate anyone who asks. I would suggest that everyone get involved because the likelihood that someone you know has MS is very high and this is a great way to get access to information that can be passed on!

great staff to volunteer for,if you work days there are weekend walk and bike events in the spring & early summer. in the fall is the marathon fluid station. Or during the week in preparation for these events are mailing and telephone calls to be made. one can volunteer in the office every day or hours that are convenient to your schedule. I have been doing these events for the past 20 some years and this is my charity of choice. Join the movement and join the volunteer staff in 2009. Vicki
