The Junior League of Salt Lake City is a member of the Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI) and has been serving the Salt Lake community since 1931. During its first sixty years of community service, the League's involvement was primarily in the arts, social welfare, child welfare, criminal justice system education. Since 1990, the League has turned its attention to the critical issues facing the environment, women and substance abuse, mentally ill adults, and health care issues.
