Mission Statement

The Empowerment Zone Coalition (EZC) is a collaboration of dedicated individuals, grassroots community organizations, churches, civic groups, block clubs, schools businesses and law enforcement agencies who have joined together with a mission to raise public awareness and mobilize communities for the prevention of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs (ATOD).

Description

EZC develops initiatives based on identified needs of the Detroit community with emphasis on the Empowerment Zone East Region. EZC prepares and empowers the community to work for positive change by building on strengths inherent in the community.
