Mission Statement

The goal of the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade is to benefit all women through research, clinical care, support services, education and early detection, but there is special emphasis on reaching medically underserved women, including low-income, elderly and minority women, and women without adequate health insurance. Reversing historical disparities in breast cancer care is a priority of the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade.

Description

The AVON Walk for Breast Cancer, a new weekend charity event to raise funds for breast cancer is looking for volunteers. Opportunities exist for office volunteers in our Chicago event office, as well as for outreach volunteers to fill a variety of functions throughout the Chicago metro area. The only requirement is a desire to give of your time in order to make a difference. Call the Volunteer Coordinator at 773-248-3120.
