Show Me Community Awareness

Mission Statement

The purpose of this organization shall be: A) To assist in the provision of information, resources, referral, crisis intervention, guidance, education and counseling services. (1) Show Me Community Awareness shall offer services through, but not limited to, Brenna's House, 614 Clark Avenue, Jefferson City, Missouri 65101. (2) Show Me Community Awareness shall strive toward being a positive influence on the quality of life for the members of the community, including: (a) Bring existing groups and organizations into one place to help those in the community who need assistance. (b) Provide community assistance for individuals in the areas of mental, financial, physical and emotional needs. (c) Work from a main focal point in the community. (d) Provide answers to questions regarding available programs and assistance to get specific needs of the individual addressed by these programs. (e) Provide volunteers 24/7 on a person to person basis to assist in locating and guiding individuals to needed help. (f) Provide an atmosphere of comfort which will be stress-free, with a respectful, relaxed, drug-free, alcohol-free and violence-free. (g) Work in the ommunity with/for/by individuals, including: Police-juvenile services Mental health personnel Medical services (B) To promote health and well-being among individuals served through Brenna''s House.
