The Family Violence Project of the Urban Justice Center is dedicated to primary prevention, early intervention and system reform in the field of domestic violence.

Description

Our four programs are: - Legal Advocacy Program - providing assistance to victims of domestic violence - Community Empowerment Program - providing technical assistance to community based organizations in addressing domestic violence in their communities - Family Violence Prevention Program - providing technical assistance to child welfare agencies in addressing violence within the families they serve. - Oral History Project - compiling oral histories of Muslim women
