Mission Statement

The Federal Heights Police Department, located in Adams County, was founded in early 1960. The mission of every member of this department is to establish and maintain an ongoing partnership with the citizens of our community that promotes, preserves and delivers a presence of security, safety and quality of services. We will fulfill this mission with courtesy, integrity and respect.

Description

The Federal Heights Police Department utilizes a Victim Services Unit to provide support, information and referrals to crime victims. Victim Advocates are available on a 24 hour basis, seven days a week. The Department utilizes paid advocates as well as volunteer advocates. Victim Advocates provide you with information about your rights as the victim of a protected crime, information about your criminal case and help you understand the criminal justice process. Victim Advocates can also provide information about Victim Compensation procedures. Victim Advocates are highly trained to provide crisis intervention and emotional support and can provide referrals to emergency resources.
