Mission Statement

The Roosevelt Fire District is an all-volunteer provider of fire protection and first-response emergency medical service to the citizens of Hyde Park, NY. Our mission is to work to reduce the need for emergency response by providing fire prevention and safety information to the community.

Description

The Roosevelt Fire District has over 120 active firefighters, emergency medical technicians, support staff, fire police, public educators, and administrative professionals to provide a community-based fire and EMS delivery program to the citizens of Hyde Park, NY and surrounding towns. We run over 1,000 calls annually out of our 3 neighborhood-based fire stations.
