The Alameda Food Bank's mission is to provide nutritious food to Alameda residents on a non-discriminating basis. The Alameda Food Bank is a private, non-profit, non-affiliated, tax-exempt agency run primarily by a dedicated staff of volunteers.

To effectively provide low-income Alameda residents with a regular source of nutritious food through several programs. Serving an average of 2400 people a month.
