One To World's mission is to create global citizens and inspire a peaceful world through one-of-a-kind programs in classrooms and communities.

Description

One To World is the only organization that, for over thirty years, has been connecting university students from around the world to thousands of New Yorkers through hundreds of programs annually. Our membership consists of over 85 colleges and universities and we are engaged by the U.S. State Department to provide exclusive programming to visiting Fulbright scholars in the region. Since 1985, One To World's flagship program, Global Classroom, has partnered with the New York City Department of Education to provide over 10,000 public school children in the Greater New York area with interactive perspectives on global issues. We are committed to providing leadership in fostering global education and international cooperation at the local and community level.
