Additioanlly, the Department offers recreation opportunities through youth and adult sports, community centers, therapeutic recreation, Sertich ice center and golf courses.
The cultural services of the Department extends to the Pioneers Museum, Rock Ledge Ranch living history museum, the City Auditorium, and park visitors centers.
The parks and outdoor spaces add value to our property and indirectly generate tax revenue for our city government. They attract visitors from outside the region and allow us to position ourselves as a great place to come and play by creating an overall quality of life that makes our city a desirable place to live, work and raise our families.
