Mission Statement

Gay and Lesbian Youth Services is a nonprofit support, education, and advocacy organization for LGBT youth ages 13-18, and those dealing with issues of youth sexual orientation, including questioning teens and all youth-serving adults.

Description

The GLYS Youth Support Group provides gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and questioning teens (ages 13-18) and their supportive friends a safe place to meet and talk with each other. Teens from Rochester and the SE Minnesota area are welcome. We sometimes have speakers talking about issues that concern us, and occasionally plan fun, social activities. Meetings take place in a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental atmosphere with adult facilitators. We meet on Thursday evenings from 5-7 PM at 1500 First Avenue NE.
