Mission Statement

The Outdoor Campus-West's mission is to provide education about outdoor skills, wildlife, conservation and management practices of South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks to all ages in order to preserve our outdoor heritage.

Description

The Outdoor Campus-West is an educational branch of South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks. The purpose of the facility is to provide outdoor education experiences to youth and adults throughout western South Dakota and to serve as the headquarters for the Wildlife Division staff of the western South Dakota region.

Programs at The Outdoor Campus-West cover four core areas: hunting, fishing, outdoor education and outdoor skills. Our programs are designed for participants of all ages and are offered to the public free of charge.
