Bronx AIDS Services' mission is to empower and improve the lives and circumstances of adults and adolescents in the Bronx who are HIV positive or at risk and lack resources to meet their daily needs.

Description

Founded in 1986, Bronx AIDS Services (BAS) is a not-for-profit community-based organization that helps more than 8,000 Bronx residents each year with services and programs that touch people who are living with HIV/AIDS, people who think they might have been exposed to HIV, and those who are at high risk of exposure to the virus. Services include case management, counseling and testing, support groups for English and Spanish-speaking men and women, medical services, nutrition education, monthly and emergency pantry food bags, and legal services.
