The 2002-2003 Season marks Round House Theatreâ s 25th year as an award-winning, critically acclaimed performing arts institution in the Greater Washington Metropolitan region. This season, Round House will reach more than 120,000 children, youth, adults, and seniors through theatre and theatre education programs noted for their exceptional quality. Each season from September through June, Round House offers six to seven plays, each with a production run from three to six weeks. Our subscription series and â limited engagementâ productions include a wide range of playsâ world and regional premieres, contemporary comedies, modern adaptations of the classics, time-honored musicals, and cutting-edge as well as mainstream works. We develop new works through our semi-annual play reading series and produce a year-round musical cabaret series. Our comprehensive Education and Outreach programs include special student matinees, touring programs, internship and paid apprenticeship opportunities, a year-round theatre school, and an arts-centered full-day summer program.
