Reach Out and Read Greater Baltimore

Reach Out and Read (ROR) is an early childhood literacy program that is based in pediatric and family medical practices. ROR develops and strengthens the pre-literacy skills necessary for children to succeed by making books available to families with young children ages 6 months to five years, with a special focus on children growing up in poverty. ROR also educates parents about the importance of reading aloud, and equips them to practice literacy activities with their children from the earliest age.
