Mission Statement

Joseph House's mission is to meet the needs of the homeless veterans of our community. Services are available to men and women.

Description

Joseph House has a capacity to serve 121 Veterans. Up to 36 of the residents participate in a treatment program certified by the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services. The treatment program involves daily group sessions, individual counseling and case management to help the resident know and resolve the issues that caused their homelessness.

Transitional housing in a safe, supportive, abstinence-based recovery environment is available after completion of the halfway house program. Residents are not put under the pressure of a clock. Residents working a recovery program may reside on campus for as long as they need to achieve economic stability and permanent housing. We also provide permanent housing for disabled veterans who have completed our program, are in recovery, and need a long term safe and structured environment.
