Description

The Humane Society of Catawba County is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the general welfare of animals. HSCC strives to achieve our mission of making our community a better place for people and animals by: sheltering animals and adopting them into caring, responsible homes; providing humane education and community information services; endeavoring to reduce animal overpopulation; serving as an advocate for animals and promoting humane standards; enhancing the relationship between animals and people and fostering a respect for all life through compassionate actions.

The Humane Society of Catawba County sets high standards for the care of its animals. The facility was designed with the animals' care in mind making access to needed materials easy for the volunteers. The volunteers are welcoming to newcomers, and so are the dogs and cats!
