Work with a team of volunteers and staff to serve and clean up from lunch for up to 160 residents. 11:30am - 1:30pm, Monday - Friday This role is best suited to individuals who can commit to once a week or bi-weekly for a minimum of 3 months. This position can be filled by youth volunteers, (minimum age 16), accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Intake Assistant

Flexible Schedule | Boulder, CO 80304

Assist staff during nightly intake and maximize their ability to provide quality services to residents. Provide residents with access to the intake bathroom and lockers as needed. Check residents’ mail as needed. Provide shelter tours for new residents. These volunteers may be required to stand outside (in the intake courtyard, accompanied by staff) for up to 2 hours. These volunteers should have the ability to remain calm in potentially stressful and chaotic situations.
