Mission Statement

The Silver Spring Civic Building has become the center of community activities in Silver Spring. The large Great Hall is available for banquets, performances and other meetings and presentations. There are five other community use rooms including a gallery space. The Silver Spring Regional Center is located on the upper floor of the Civic Building. Round House Theatre School and Offices are in the lower level of the Civic Building.

Description

The Silver Spring Town Center, Inc. (SSTCi) seeks a volunteer, full or part-time, Executive Director to start up operations of this new non-profit, located in the Downtown Silver Spring Civic Building. With SSTCi’s dynamic vision of ensuring exciting, and diverse cultural arts activities in the new Montgomery County facility, the volunteer will work closely with a committed Board of Directors and the Silver Spring Regional Services Center Director to generate private resources (to underwrite Executive Director and staff salaries) and community participation.
