To mobilize both the public and government to fund and materially change how Houston, Texas looks and lives. Capitalize on our most inspiring natural advantages: trees, bayous, and the "can do" attitude of a unique populace.

Description

The Quality of Life Coalition a group of over 70 organizations from the civic, business, and environmental communities who have come together to change the face of Houston. We are dedicated to creating a place that is green, that encourages economic development, AND is environmentally and aesthetically appealing, and that offers healthy recreational opportunities to individuals and families in all parts of our city. We propose action in four areas: trees and landscaping, parks and bayous, billboards and signage, and litter and graffiti.
