Mission Statement

Goleta Beach Park is one of many beautiful parks located throughout Santa Barbara County. The Santa Barbara County Park Foundation is dedicated to the enhancement of our county's regional parks, trails, and open spaces through community partnerships. This non-profit, tax-exempt organization welcomes private donations to supplement the county's public funding of parks.

Description

Volunteers Needed!

All volunteers will receive a Goleta Beach Triathlon t-shirt and lunch at the beach after their shift.

Each volunteer shift runs 2-4 hours. This is a great opportunity for freinds and family who would like to share this experience with you!

Positions needed:

Bike Course Volunteers (direct riders and caution vehicle traffic along the bike route)

Run Course Volunteers (direct runners along the run course)

Transition Area Volunteers (direct traffic, body markings, etc. inside the Transition Area).

Nutrition Volunteers (distribute foods to finishers such as protein bars, bananas, oranges, yogurts, bagels, etc)

Finish Line Volunteers (collect timing chips, hand out Finisher Medals, etc.)

Packet Volunteers (distribute packets to partcipants as they arrive at the Park on Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning)

Parking Monitors/Volunteers (keep tabs on all available parking & help the flow of traffic in and out of the Park)
