ASTEC's mission is to empower, motivate and inspire children to their highest potential using the Core Values of Content, Character, Competency and Community. Through the use of a project-based curriculum and the ASTEC Learning Model, ASTEC launches participants into the 21st century.

Description

There are four main divisions of ASTEC: the International Aerospace Academy, Corporate programs, Outreach and ASTEC Charter Middle School. THE INTERNATIONAL AEROSPACE ACADEMY: Going into its' 17th year, the International Aerospace Academy Summer Space Camp program continues to provide children with fun, excitement and education. Focusing on life skills and traditional education, the IAA has positively effected lives nationwide. ASTEC CORPORATE PROGRAMS: The Deskin Instructional Model TM works well with any age group. Our corporate program Mission to Success trains corporate groups in teamwork and customer service. ASTEC OUTREACH: Our Outreach program travels to Oklahoma schools to promote not only education, but also the desire to learn. By using aerospace as the theme, our Outreach programs touch the lives of thousands of students each year. ASTEC CHARTER MIDDLE SCHOOL: What began as a desire to use the revolutionary teaching methods of the IAA year-round has now blossomed into ACMS, Oklahoma City's flagship technology middle school.
