Mission Statement

Sister Island Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering respectful international friendship and cultural, educational and technical exchange between people in the United States and people in the Dominican Republic. In addition, Sister Island Project promotes awareness of issues that challenge developing countries and collaborates with Dominican on mutually beneficial humanitarian projects.

Description

Sister Island supports sustainable development, cultural exchange and diversity awareness and coordinates year-round service trips to the rural Dominican community of Cruz Verde.
