Our mission is to build healthy neighborhoods by providing services and programs for the disadvantaged and underserved, youth, individuals, families and communities in Hampton Roads.
Description
The Garden of Hope, Inc (GOH) was established on September 17, 2008 a branch of the ministry of Gethsemane Community Fellowship Baptist Church and was later incorporated as a 501c3 and a separate entity from the church. The organization is the realization of the vision of Dr. Kirk T. Houston Sr. and was created as a means to provide services, programs and resources to individuals and families experiencing social, economic and moral deficiency.
The Garden of Hope is designed to be both an extension of ministry and an individualized effort providing the level of social services to people that extends beyond what the church traditionally offers in a standard faith-based setting.
