Mission Statement

"Saints Among Us", Illinois Saint Bernard Rescue is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), organization dedicated to helping abandoned, abused, homeless, and relinquished Saint Bernards find a "forever home". It is our belief that our Saint Bernards should not be acquired casually or disposed of lightly. We provide temporary, loving, foster homes for all of our dogs until they are placed in their new homes. The dogs are fully vaccinated, sterilized, micro chipped, parasite, and heartworm free prior to placement. They are also temperament tested in a variety of situations to help match the Saint with the potential adopters lifestyle. Illinois Saint Bernard Rescue was established to represent the best interests of our beloved Saint Bernard dog here in Illinois. We are affiliated with the National Saint Bernard Rescue Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit corporation dedicated to finding loving forever homes for rescued Saint Bernards.
