Mission Statement

To inspire and enable all youth, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as responsible, healthy, productive, caring individuals in a safe place to learn and grow through life-enhancing programs with caring adults instilling our principles of Hope and Opportunity.

Description

Afterschool site serving youth ages 5 to 18 in the communties of; Unincorporated East Los Angeles, Commerce, Monterey Park, Montebello, City of L.A. neighborhoods of Boyle Heights, City Terrace, El Sereno & Union Pacific and the Southeast Cities.

What sets us apart is that we case manage our children who attend regularly. Through this, our staff and volunteers can INTRODUCE our youth to new friends; INVOLVE them in programs; INTERVENE quickly when problems arise; and INSPIRE them to greatness.

Programs within our 6 core tenets include: Education/Career/Technology; Character & Leadership; Health & Life Skills; The Arts; Sports, Fitness & Recreation and Family Resources. Volunteers have a great variety of ways to assist.

The club averages over 200 youth a day and serve over 2000 youth annually with an additional 2000 through collaborations with other area non-profits.
