To improve the human condition through plant science.

Description

The Danforth Plant Science Center is an independent, not-for-profit plant research facility located in St. Louis, MO. Our scientists, who hail from over 20 countries, seek solutions to some of the world's biggest problems through the use of plant science. There are three prongs to our mission:

Feed the hungry and improve human health

Preserve and renew our environment

Enhance our regin as a world center for plant science
