Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide transitional living centers that meet the needs of all homeless persons through both long and short term case-managed programs. ECTLC maintains clean, safe facilities that provide individuals and families with temporary housing until they can regain control of their lives. All of our programs include the opportunity for three meals a day, counseling is available along with a clothing ministry if needed. At our centers there are four separate programs to meet the needs of the homeless. Our one year Disciple Programs are Christ-centered and will bring a person from homelessness to faith in Christ, employed and transitioned to self-sufficiency as productive members of our community. Our Emergency Voucher and Transitional Living programs work closely with all social service providers in our community to find permanent living and long-term programs for those seeking help. Individuals participating in these programs are not required to attend any of the Christ-centered classes or studies, but they are welcome if they choose.

Description

Our facility provides three meals daily for approximately 300 people. We provide emergency housing on a voucher system. We also provide laundry services and a clothing ministry for our residents. We provide an opportunity for residents to obtain counseling, Bible classes, anger management, parenting and substance abuse classes along with life skills, couples counseling and a resource center to assist in job seeking requirements. Our programs are free of charge to single men and women entering our discipleship programs. Our family programs require a minimal payment.
