To improve the lives of companion animals in East Contra Costa County, California through rescues, adoptions, education, and collaboration with other community groups.

Description

HALO rescues dogs and cats and finds them loving homes through adoptions. We spay, neuter, and provide other veterinary care before matching families and our adoptees. We have educational programs in the schools to teach proper pet care and raise awareness of the value of pets' lives. HALO collaborates with other community groups when possible.
