Mission Statement

The Housing Advocacy Council is a not-for-profit community based advocacy organization that assists and educates Monterey County residents to obtain and maintain affordable housing and prevent homelessness.

Description

We operate programs that assist Monterey County residents to either remain in their current rental unit, enter the housing market as a renter or buyer, or learn about housing services that are available. Our programs especially benefit low and very low-income families and individuals who are striving to maintain financial independence.
