Famines are caused by shortages in domestic food supply as well as inefficient management of resources by the public sector and non-governmental organizations. The Alliance for Southern African Progress, Inc. exists to do its part in capacity building and famine relief in the southern African region by working with other NGOs in the sustainable development field to raise awareness of the situation, and by drawing attention to those accountable for the current famine.
While no one organization can stop such horrific famines or mismanagement by governments, the Alliance for Southern African Progress, Inc. aims to do its part throught the help of volunteers who care. Please contact us today.
