The American Cancer Society is the nationwide community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer , saving lives and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service.

Description

The American Cancer Society's Southern New Mexico Cancer Resource Center in Las Cruces provides information and free resources to cancer patients, cancer survivors, and caregivers. Volunteer provide cancer clients with assistance, support, and such services as wigs, hats, and scarves, as well as individualized information in English and Spanish.
