Mission Statement

The mission of the Youth Coalition for Animal Rights and Rescue Everywhere (Y~care) is to unite and empower young people to advocate for the rights and welfare of all animals, educate the public on animal issues, and support and promote animal rescue, care, and adoption in an effort to improve the lives of all animals.

Description

The Y-care street team aims to engage youth in promoting and assisting with animal adoptions in NYC. The youth coalition brings public awareness to current animal rights issues through humane education in schools and setting up local animal resource tables targeting the general public.
