City of San Antonio Neighborhood Conferencing Committee Program

Description

To provide a young offender the opportunity to repair the harm done to their victim and community. This opportunty also provides the offender the chance to have the charge dismissed from their record when the program is completed successfully. NCC works with 10-13 year old first time offenders of Class C misdemeanors. Our volunteers particpate on committees with NCC staff and through an assessment of the youth's needs, mandates are developed and a contract is signed. The youth has up to four months from the time of the conference to complete the mandates.
