Mission Statement

The overall mission of the Young Moms Connect project is to:
1) Increase high school graduation rates
2) Decrease cases of child abuse and neglect
3) Increase participation in prenatal care
4) Increase intake of young adults at family planning clinics
5) Lower the number of unintended pregnancies

Description

Rockingham County is one of five counties across the state selected to participate in the Young Moms Connect Project. The goal is to support and improve community efforts that work to improve the health of pregnant and parenting women and their families. Key areas of focus will include access to and improvement of services to young families.
