Mission Statement

ABOUT US

The Casa Grande Valley Historical Society was founded in 1964 as a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization by The Woman's Club of Casa Grande. The Museum collections include historic artifacts, archives, an extensive photograph collection, and several historic properties. The collections, exhibits, and properties portray the development of mining, agriculture, railroad expansion, settlement, and technology in the region.

Mission
The Mission of the Casa Grande Valley Historical Society is to collect, preserve, interpret, and disseminate the history of the Casa Grande Valley.

Vision
The vision of the Society is to develop and maintain diverse collections and create rich educational experiences for Museum visitors by collecting, preserving, and exhibiting artifacts and histories significant to the Casa Grande region.

Description

Explore the rich heritage of a rural Southern Arizona town.

The Casa Grande Valley Historical Society was founded in 1964 to preserve and exhibit the history of the Casa Grande region. We invite you to explore the museum with family and friends to experience the rich history and diverse cultures of the region.

Special events and programs include Night at the Museum, Hot Wings for History, a Speaker Series, public programs, and seasonal exhibits. We also offer guided tours, fieldtrips for youth and students, and access to research materials by appointment.
