Mission Statement

The Museums of Los Gatos is a nonprofit educational institution dedicated to enhancing community life through the preservation, exhibition, and interpretation of our regional history, and in increasing community appreciation of the fine arts. Established in 1965, the Los Gatos Museums Association includes the Art Museum of Los Gatos, the History Museum at Forbes Mill, and the Los Gatos Museums Gallery.

Description

Have an interest in art and history, or the workings of a museum? Then discover and explore more about the museum environment through our volunteer and internship programs!

Have the unique opportunity to experience the day to day operations of museums and learn more about our local art and history. Our volunteers and interns interact with visitors of both the art and history museums, but also help staff in events, exhibitions, operations, development and more.

Training is provided, and some college credit is available for internship positions.
