Billy’s House Mission Statement

Billy’s House strives to end hunger and alleviate as many symptoms of poverty as possible by engaging individuals and communities to provide food, clothing and other daily necessities for people in need. In all our programs, we strive to affirm the human dignity of each individual who comes to us in need. We want them to feel loved and valued as human beings.

Description

Billy’s House has been in action for three years working with community and governmental agencies such as the Saginaw County Community Action Committee, Salvation Army, Saginaw County Health Department and theSaginawand SaginawTownshippublic schools, to provide for the people of Saginawand surrounding areas. Our program is designed to assist our clients to relieve themselves from reliance on donated food for support. We have a volunteer staff, trained as counselors, managers, ministers, professional food handlers and former food bank operators. The key to our success is that we treat each client as a person with an issue that needs to be addressed. Together we address and fight the causes of that problem.
